I want to especially thank Liesl for her amazing seam finish tutorials she did a while back on her blog. If you haven't checked them out, they are great. Before I had a blog I tried to share them with all the people in my sewing class, my mom, etc. They were so clear, concise, and well organized.
I think blogs have taught me more about sewing than I learned in some of my CC classes.
Also, my friends and I want to do a fabric swap this summer. We think we will each bring sewing items (fabric, notions, patterns, etc) that we no longer want to stash and some food and then swap for things we want. You have to bring stuff to get stuff. Anything left over at the end will be probably be donated to the Craft Center. If you are in Northern California/Sac. area and want to participate, let me know :) Hopefully it will happen, and not just be one of those grand ideas we have that never materializes.
